Family Home Evening

OK so I’m a bad mom. Get over it! Here are 3 videos to make up for lost time. I promise I will be better. More pictures and vdeos coming soon! We love you all and glad you are a part of our lives.

UPDATE ON ADRI

-She will be a 1 yr old in two weeks I can’t believe it! She is an exceptionally smart little girl (Isn’t that what we all say about our own kids?)
-At 9 mos. She had her first word “DADA” and now before her first Bday she says: Mama, ding dong, thank you, nana, doggy and maybe a few more I can’t think of right now. She will also just repeat several sounds after me. She has the first part of her sisters name “AAA”
-She claps, blows kisses, and waves
-She thinks her head is called “Where is” because if you say “where is (anything)” she always touches her head.
-Unfortunately or fortunately she has been slower with her gross motor skills than she has been with her speech and fine motor. She didn’t crawl until 10 mos. and walking looks a bit far away also.
-Now she is pulling up onto everything and walking along furniture but is no where near alone walking.
-She is of course a “Joy” and a very easy baby. She already listens to me better than another small person in this house.

UPDATE ON ABBY

-Loves her new house where she has a front and back yard to play in.
-She almost loves outside as much as TV (her first love PBS and NOGGIN)
-She talks up a storm and gets some of her language from TV like: “Whats going to work? Team work”, “This is SERIOUS”(Ming ming Wonder Pets), and “I sneeze in my arm like Sid the Science Kid”
-The other day she told me that moms b__bs are like Arthur’s moms b__bs.  Scary!
-She loves going to nursery at church.
-She has her own mind. Does not like doing what we tell her to do even if its something fun. She does things her own way and on her own time. Which I guess will be better down the line with peer pressure. “No I don’t want to smoke that cigarette!
-She loves playing with her little Sis and is very protective of her. She also shouts it to the world every time Adri stands now “mom look Adri is standing! No mom you have to look”
-She loves the park and the beach. She will still play in the water no matter the temperature.
-She is lots of fun to be around and makes us laugh everyday

Last night we played Hide-and-Go-Seek for FHE. Good times.

Life is good.
